I declare that
1.1 I am over the legal age of 18 years.
1.2 I am one of the registered owners of the property at the installation address and my name is on the title deed of the Installation Address.
1.3 I have never received or have never been approved for any rebate, financial assistance solar credit or small-scale technology certificate (STCs) for small generation solar power system at the Installation Address.
2.1 Payments under this agreement can be made by bank cheque, debit card, credit card or direct deposit.
2.2 The "Deposit Required" above must be paid in full at the same time as you accept our offer;

3.1 The Purchaser assigns all rights create STCs to Goal Solar and authorizes Goal Solar to create, apply and retain STCs and all financial benefits or value attributable to them.
3.2 The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the installation portion of the Price on the Order Confirmation has been calculated on the basis that STCs will be approved by the Australian Government Clean Energy Regulator. If for any reason Goal Solar determines that the STCs are not, or will not be, available to Goal Solar as anticipated by Goal Solar when calculating the Price, or if you refuse to sign the STC paperwork (ie Solar PV STC Assignment Form), then you agree to pay an additional amount to reflect the value of such benefits that are not, or will not, be available to Goal Solar.
As part of the Purchase Agreement, Goal Solar is granted access to the Site and sufficient possession as is necessary to complete site inspections, deliveries, and installation of the goods. Failure to provide or impede access may cause Goal Solar to change the price if the installation cannot be conducted.
Your disagreement to clause 3 and your failure to pay Goal Solar as per clause 2, Goal Solar reserves the right to enter the Installation Address without notice and repossess the System, and to charge you for all costs related to the repossession, loss of value of repossessed system, and disposal of waste.
Estimated time frame for supplying and installing the system is within 6 weeks’ time of contract signed, installation time frame is depending on subject to approval from local gird connection approval, other authorities’ approval (body corporate, local state govt approval if needed) and property travel distance and transportation. You are not entitled to cancel you order without our consent or seek a refund, loss, damages or compensation for any delays in the delivery or installation caused by peaks in demand, shipment and shortage of panels and material supplied by overseas manufacturers, change in regulations and in extremes weather conditions. Home owner must be present during installation to sign the mandatory declaration assigning the STCs to GOAL SOLAR, as per the renewable Energy Act (2000). Should the installer arrive on the agreed date and the home owner is not present, a rescheduling fee of $200.00 will apply and the installation will be delayed. In regards to any preference regarding panel/Inverter placement, you are required to inform the installer when they arrive on property. Goal Solar does not permit any subsequent changes, modification or reinstallation of the installed system.
7.1 The customer will receive a prompt refund of all payments if this agreement ends for any of the reasons listed below, before our system is installed at the premises: (a) no later than 10 days after acceptance of this agreement (b) if we have not delivered and installed the System within 6 weeks of contract signing and you wish to terminate the agreement. Or (c) Approval of the Grid Connection is refused. (d) (d) If any of the equipment quoted is unattainable and you are not willing to accept equipment of a similar quality. (e) In the event that extra charges arise, which were not stipulated in the original contract, and the additional costs are not borne by the Supplier and the consumer does not consent to these additional charges, the consumer will receive a full refund upon request.
7.2 It is the customer's right within 10 business days of the date that you sign or receive this agreement to cancel this agreement. A customer may terminate this agreement by giving a written notice of termination here of two Goal Solar. A consumer may cancel the agreement without penalty within 10 business days of going into effect, after $150 administrative charge will apply
7.3 Goal Solar may terminate any agreement to supply a system should the government incentives or other benefit, including STCs, is reduced, discontinued, withdrawn or cancelled prior to the installation of your System. If Goal Solar does terminate the sale for this reason, you will be entitled to a full refund.
Consumer need to contact their electricity retailer or relevant State or Territory government before sign this contract In regards to feed in tariff, their electricity contract/tariff may change, following installation of solar and that the consumer should contact their electricity retailer: the “feed in tariff incentive” as administered by the relevant State or Territory government. Consumer needs to check before signing a contract, to check what new electricity tariff rates may be applied; and after installation of the solar PV system, to confirm that the agreed tariff has been applied.
This clause applies to a customer who has a pre-existing solar system. The upgrade of your pre-existing solar system/panel add-on/complete replacement may significantly reduce the current Feed-in-Tariff being received from the retailer for generation by your pre-existing solar system. You should discuss this loss with your retailer to ascertain the new Feed-in-Tariff. The reduced rates may impact on your return on investment/Expected Payback period. In no circumstance will Goal Solar be liable for any loss of your feed in tariff as a result of Goal Solar carrying out an upgrade/panel add-on/complete replacement of your pre-existing solar system.
a) If the meter box is not compatible with connection requirement and requires rewiring, upgrade etc. then such costs are additional to the price quoted. The customer will be required to arrange for and pay for the additional wiring/upgrade (and other extra) work.
b) Goal Solar’s quote does not include additional costs in relation to the reconfiguration or change of your meter switchboard to Net/Solar meter as part of the Grid Connection Process which comes from your Electricity Distributor or Electricity Retailer. Goal Solar is not liable for any compensation due to delay in relation to the reconfiguration or change of your meter to Net/Solar meter.
11.1 The ownership and insurance risk of the PV solar system passes to you upon installation and Goal Solar receiving full payment for the solar system. It is your responsibility to ensure that your property insurance adequately covers the cost of your PV solar system.
11.2 To ensure your system meets industry best practice and all relevant Australian Standards we contract a Clean Energy Council accredited independent licensed electrician ("Installer") to install your system who is responsible for installing your system. We agree to provide you with details of your Installer prior to the commencement of any work upon request.
11.3 consumer acknowledge that old and brittle roofing tiles that may be cracked or damaged during installation. Customer needs to provide same spare roof tiles on the day of installation so installer can replace same time.
11.4 You acknowledge Goal Solar accepts no liability or responsibility for your STC’s incentive as administered by the Office of Clean Energy Regulator (http://ret.cleanenergyregulator.gov. au/).
12.1 Subject to clause
12.2 we guarantee:
1. Our workmanship, and the workmanship of our contractors, in installing the System; and
2. The operation and performance of the System, will be free from fault or defect for a period of 5 years commencing on the date the System is installed (Guarantee Period), and we will repair any such default or defect notified to us within the Guarantee Period, including by replacing all or part of the System where necessary, within a reasonable timeframe at no cost to you.
12.3 The guarantee in clause 12.1 will not apply where:
1. The fault or defect is not notified to us within the Guarantee Period; or
2. The fault or defect is a result of:
1. Something done by you or someone else, and not us or our contractors; or
2. Something beyond human control that occurred after installation, e.g., an extreme weather event;
3. The System being misused, abused, neglected or damaged after installation;
4. The System being maintained other than in accordance with the Maintenance Documents; or
5. The System being repaired, modified, reinstalled or repositioned by anyone other than a service technician approved by us in writing.
12.4 The guarantee in clause 12.1 is additional to any other guarantee or warranty you may have:
1. From the manufacturer of the System; or
2. Under any applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law, although these other guarantees and warranties may not cover labour costs, travel costs and delivery costs arising from a claim under these other guarantees and warranties. We will notify you if this is the case, and tell you the costs payable. The costs will be payable in advance.
12.5 During the Guarantee Period, we will provide reasonable assistance to you in making any guarantee or warranty claim against the manufacturer of the System, including by acting as your liaison with the manufacturer.
13.1 Production: The estimated average daily output of 1KW solar system is: QLD/SA - 4.2 KW, VIC/TAS - 3.5 KW, WA/NT - 4.4 KW, NSW - 3.9 KW per day, which is based on the Clean Energy Council’s Guidelines. This may vary depending on other factors such as, roof pitch, direction, shade and weather etc. For more information, please visit the Clean Energy Council’s Website.
13.2 we will advise consumer how to measure the performance of their system. This can be done in one of three ways: (a) Demonstration; (b) Written instructions on how to read the inverter; or (c) Provision of a measuring device that links back to the inverter.
13.3 We must provide you with the Maintenance Documents. we recommend an inspection/servicing at a minimum of every three years.
13.4 It is your responsibility to maintain the System in accordance with these documents.
(a) Any requirement to provide a document or information in writing can be met in electronic form, or to provide a signature can be met in electronic or verbal form.
(b) In addition to this agreement, various laws and codes, including the Australia n Consumer Law and, if we have volunteered to be bound by it, the CEC Solar Retailer Code of Conduct, also contain rules applicable to the sale and installation of solar photovoltaic systems, and we will comply with these rules in selling you the System and installing it at the Premises
